MallowDrama features creative cakes and scrumptious sweets from the pastry team of Mary & David Supley Foxworth. We specialize in made-to-order cakes and chocolate truffles, and also offer a variety of cookies, pastries, scones, molded chocolates, candies, and tarts.
We are pleased to make cakes for weddings, birthdays, children’s parties, and many other special occasions. MallowDrama also offers edible party favors and gifts and is available to cater dessert receptions. We enjoy working with our customers to develop unique designs while maintaining superior taste and quality.
All of our products are made fresh. We use only organic eggs, butter, milk, and cream in all of our products. We also strive for other ingredients to be organic and/or locally grown or produced whenever possible. Some items can be made 100 percent organic at request; vegan/dairy-free products are also available upon request.
MallowDrama also believes in supporting its local community and transacting its business in a socially responsible manner. We put this into practice through charitable contributions, by purchasing ingredients from local farms and businesses, and by using recycled and environmentally-friendly products whenever possible.
Mary & David have extensive baking and catering experience. Mary has been recognized at the Fairfax Chocolate Challenge, winning awards for her cakes (St. Filbert's Florentine Torta and Olé Mole) in 2002 and 2003. Both have attended classes and assisted as volunteers at L’academie de Cuisine in Maryland and both completed the Wilton method cake decorating series. Mary received a certificate in Foods for Catering from L’academie de Cuisine. David is an accomplished visual artist. He received a Corcoran Gold Key Award in 1990.
